About Me

Hi, I’m Kerry! I have been stamping for almost 30 years, a Stampin’ Up! customer ever since they came to Canada, and finally signed up to be a Demonstrator in 2017. I am married to a wonderful husband and call Calgary, Alberta my home.

I have always enjoyed doing creative homemade things; I grew up in a family that is very creative and talented. My love for stamping and paper crafting started at a very young age. I remember going to a craft fair with my mom and dad and coming upon a booth selling rubber stamps. The lady at the booth was demonstrating heat embossing with silver and gold powders. At that moment I was hooked! I remember thinking, “I can make cards like the ones in the stores!”  I was probably 7 or 8 years old! You know, some people delve in and out of various hobbies, and I am no exception, but this one has stuck with me my entire life.

Before I had a lot of supplies, or even knew what supplies I needed, I used to heat emboss using a light bulb on a lamp in my childhood bedroom and was so excited when my parents finally got me an actual heat embossing tool for Christmas! I also clearly remember the Christmas I got a Big Shot and the Christmas that my parents gave me a box of wood with a message that said “some assembly required!” (it was the supplies needed to build a wooden cabinet to store my stamps). My dad, brother and I spent that winter designing and building it together.

When I was in school I used to come home on Fridays and ask my mom to take me to my favorite stamp store where I would spend my babysitting moneyWe also used to go on road trips to all of the surrounding small towns in the area to see what was new at the local scrapbooking and stamp stores. Mom and I still enjoy getting together to work on projects.

Needless to say, this is my passion! And I love sharing it with others.

I have always wanted to have a website to share my creations and don’t know why I waited so long. I invite you to join me on my journey. Enjoy!
